The Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program through CMC’s Center for Civic Engagement was developed in 2012 with several goals in mind, including promoting service to others, providing a cultural exchange opportunity, developing leadership skills and personal growth, and fostering strong bonds among participants. This year, we are offering three student-led amazing trips for CMC students.
For more information about where we’re going, visit the 2016 Trip Locations page.
Student teams will be selected through an application process, described on the Application page. Applications will be due Monday, January 25. A $50 deposit will be required along with the application. If you are chosen for an ASB trip, this $50 deposit will be applied to the total trip cost. If you are not chosen, this deposit will be returned to you. Please turn in your deposit to Shayla Chalker in DOS/Heggblade.
Please contact Amy Bibbens at the Center for Civic Engagement with any further questions about the trips!
